An antique 18th Century oak coffer. The antique oak coffer is of simple form and has a wooden hinged lid that opens to reveal a spacious interior and candle box to the left side. The coffer has a two panel front with brass escutcheon and is raised on stile feet. There is surface wear in places including age-related marks and scratches throughout. There is some loss (pictured) to the surface top corners and slides as well as some staining (pictured), however, this does not affect the overall integrity of the oak coffer.
