A rare and desirable item of Edwardian silver. This is a superb two part string box by the collectable Levi & Salaman. The attractive domed and rounded box is attached to the base via a push fit. There is an aperture to the top for the string to emerge and an elegant band to the middle. The pedestal base is weighted to facilitate the smooth withdrawl of string and for stability. Silver string boxes are always in demand, due to their scarcity. A wonderful decorative and practical piece. Dimensions below.
