A lovely quality early 19th Century mahogany bureau bookcase with later (Edwardian) cornice, the highly decorative carved pierced fret swan neck pediment with a central box column with further carved floral decoration, the top section having two astrigal glazed doors opening to reveal three adjustable shelves inside, the bureau fall opening to reveal a lovely fitted interior with various oak lined drawers with the original brassware and four compartments, below the fall are four long oak lined graduated drawers with brass ring handles and escutcheons, standing on bracket feet. Circa 1830.
