Description

This is a set of four late 19th century Russian hallmarked silver vodka cups. They are 84 zolotniki (.875 standard) hallmarked silver. They were assayed in St Petersburg in 1896 and bear the assay master's mark of Aleksandr Timofeyevich Shevyakov. The maker's marks has been attributed to silversmith Mikail Grachev and others.

They are of simple form, with the circular body tapering to the top, and an angled handle on a circular foot rim. They are engraved with a monogram and each have hallmarks to the underside.

They are in generally good condition but there are a few light dents and some light marks to the surface. There is some persistent tarnishing to some parts.
