ANTIQUE #SA1087228

Silver Toast Rack, Birmingham Assay.

Status: This item has been sold
Sold by: Limited Editions

A pretty silver toast rack from the workshops of John Millward Banks who operated from Northampton Road in Birmingham. He opened in 1863 and retired in 1905. This pretty rack is in good condition and might make a nice present for someones collection perhaps.

The Birmingham assay mark seems to depict 1876 but could be 1901. We suggest the latter by the style etc. So its well over 100 years old.

Priced very much to sell at only £100.
