Description

A rare set of Japanese solid sterling silver salt and pepper pots. They are hallmarked STERLING 950 standard and I would date it to c1920. They have been superbly designed being in the form of a pair of traditional Japanese geisha shoes. They are in superb condition being free from dings, splits and repairs. They measure approx. 2 inches (5cm) long by 1.25 inches (3.2cm) wide by 1.25 inches (3.2cm) tall and have a combined weight of 44 grams. Beautiful rare examples.
