Technical Description

A fine Potsdam goblet dating to the late 17th or very early 18th century. It has a conical bowl with a solid section to the base, engraved with castles and sprays of flowers with large lens cuts. Double merese above a hollow inverted baluster knop and large foliate engraved conical foot.

Date & Origin

Germany or Bohemia, c1690-1710.

Condition

Excellent, age-related wear as shown, no chips, cracks, or restoration.
