Rare English Victorian Sterling Silver Claret Wine Decanter Label 1898 Barware

Description

A superb English Victorian antique solid sterling silver Claret decanter / bottle label. It is hallmarked for London 1898 with the makers mark being rubbed. It has been well cast incorporating a reclining Dionysus and is in super condition being free from dings splits holes and repairs. It measures approx. 2.25 inches (6cm) across by 1.75 inches (4.6cm) tall excluding the chain and weighs complete with its chain weighs 24 grams. A very nicely made example.
