A set of four Victorian wine glasses dating to c1880. They have amethyst bowls above clear stems and feet with polished pontils.
The form itself was very popular in late 19th century, most often seen in cranberry and green...occasionally you find a really nice blue example. Much less often, you find a good quality amethyst example...first set of four we have ever had...so quite rare
