Georgian Wine Glass Rummer with Lemon Squeezer Foot C1800

Technical Description

A Georgian wine glass which has a cup bowl above a capstan stem with a lemon squeezer foot dating to c1800.

Lemon squeezer feet, which were popular in the early 1800's. are normally found on larger rummer type glasses and its very unusual to find one on a more standard sized wine glass. This is a very fine example.

Date & Origin

England, c1800. Period of George III.

Condition

Excellent, minor nibles to the corners of the foot as expected. No chips, cracks or restoration.
