This is a superb antique early Victorian hallmarked sterling silver snuff box measuring 2 3/4'' (7 cms) x just under 1 3/4'' (4 cms) .

It opens and closes perfectly with a good strong hinge and the interior is in very good condition and gilded inside.

It''s hallmarked for Birmingham 1843 with the silversmiths mark for Francis Clark.

It weighs 78.8 grams/2.5 troy oz and the whole item is in excellent condition.
