This was Made by the very well respected maker W.H Wilmot of Birmingham
who specialised in hand made watch chains in the early late
nineteenth to the early twentieth Century.
Can be worn as a watch chain as intended or as a fabulous necklace.
The trombone links are all the same size- good chunky solid links in warm rose old 9ct gold The dog clip and the t bar are all matching and original to the chain- all stamped with the same makers mark - the chain is in brilliant condition with very little wear to the links and hallmarks The double Albert has a t bar suspended in the middle and one curb link that would have had a fob attached - this link could be used to extend the chain very slightly by (6.3cm) 2.5 inches - (please enquire for a minimal cost for this alteration) Hallmarked: (9).375 for 9ct Gold , each link is stamped 9.375 (for 9ct gold) Makers mark: WHW Ld for W H Wilmot Ltd of Birmingham Weight: 39.5 grams Dimensions: The wearable chain length is (34.3cm) / 13.5 inches, the links are 8mm wide Condition: Excellent antique condition
