Description

An impressive late 16thc oak clamped coffer, of a very useful size, not being too large...it is of sturdy construction with attractive ends and shaped feet, typical style of the period, with all the original planks and candle box / till....it still retains its original iron lock, the hinges are old, but later replacements....it has gained a fine natural colour and patina.
