Technical Description

A superb early 19th century engraved opaque twist wine glass goblet c1810.

The glass has a truMpet bowl with rococo style engravings around the rim. Sits on a double series opaque twist stem consisting of a pair of 5-ply spiral bands outside a pair of spiral threads. Conical foot with snapped pontil.

An exceptional glass made very early in the 19th century.

Date & Origin

England, c1810. Period of George III.

Condition

Excellent, no chips cracks or restoration.
