Danish sterling silver ring with large cabochon polished Rutilated Quartz. By Karen Strand (1924 - 2000).
Karen Strand was a gifted jewellery designer who worked with many prominent Danish silversmith''s, such as A. Michelsen, Just Andersen and A. Dragsted, before starting her own workshop in Copenhagen in 1962.
This modernist ring from the 1960s is size M 1/2 - 53. The domed Rutilated Quartz measures 1.1cm x 2.2cm. Weight 13.2g. Excellent vintage condition.
