Victorian Silver Trinket Pin Dish with Heart Design 1889 Atkin Brothers

A very pretty Victorian square trinket dish with a central heart motif. The dish is ornately patterned in a repousse style, the silver being pressed in to form a raised pattern, inside and out. Floral motifs, leaves and swags surround a central smooth heart with a beaded edge. The square edges of the dish are crimped, and this detail really catches the light.

A super pin dish which would look wonderful on a dressing table, and could make a lovely romantic gift.

In lovely antique condition.

 

Hallmarked in Sheffield with date marks for 1889 and makers marks for Atkin Brothers.
