An Unusual Georgian Etched Rum Decanter

A delightful cut glass decanter from the Georgian Regency period. This charming example is a Rum decanter, with a superb etched panel to the front featuring a bowl of fruit, thistles and a rose. 'Rum' is etched to a central panel with surrounding detailed decoration. The body has a panel of hobnail cutting, with slice cutting above. There is a flared collar and cut mushroom stopper. The base has a polished pontil mark. An excellent, usable example and a great gift idea for the Rum enthusiast. Dimensions below.
