A superb antique silver and glass decanter made by the Alvin Corporation in the USA around c1900.
The decanter has its original stopper which has been strapped in sterling silver. Continuous silver down the neck, the strapping continuing down the main square body. Large polished pontil on the base.
Marked 'D2319 Sterling Silver' as shown.
