Description

This exquisite silver lidded Moser enamelled glass scent bottle bears the marks of Drew & Sons and is dated London 1888. The opaline turquoise glass body heightened with floral sprays and gilt panels. The neck with an embossed screw-top silver lid . The inner lid fitted with cork.

Hallmarks:

S.S.D over E.D for Drew & Sons (Samuel Summers Drew & Ernest Drew).

London Assay Mark.

Lion Passant.

Date letter "N" for 1888.

Dimensions:

Height: 7cm / 2 inches.

Maximum diameter: 5.5cm / 2 inches.

Condition:

Good.

Silver lid in very good condition.

Glass body in very good condition.

Gilt decorations in good condition.
