A superb pair of Scottish Georgian glass spirit decanters dating to c1825-30.
Thay have their original mushroom cut stopper, petal cut with bands of small diamonds. Two cut applied neck rings with diamonds on the shoulders. The main body displays Empire style peacock feathers with diamonds and flutes. They sit on a circular radial cut feet.
Made by John Ford at the Holyrood Glass works in Edinburgh, Scotland between 1825-1835.

Condition
Both stoppers have chips to their rims, the decanters themselves being in excellent condition with only minor grazing and no chips, cracks, or restoration. Clean and clear examples.
