Antique Silver Novelty Miniature Warming Pan

£225    $301    €263
This is an interesting piece, with more than one usage. A solid sterling silver miniature warming pan. It could be a pot pourri holder or maybe a table snuff box? Or anything really!

It is clearly hallmarked on the side for Birmingham 1908, with the maker''s mark for Levi & Salaman. The elegant turned and ebonised handle is well attached and the star design (made from stars) is crisp on the lid. The lid opens to reveal excellent gilding inside. There is a small amount of play on the hinge. The silver is in excellent condition.
