Truly a rare find, an antique English Oak and silver plated wine cooler / Champagne bucket in the form of a coopered bucket, Victorian in era, dating to c.1870.

The front and back have a shield shaped mount engraved with a very regal armorial crest and a decorative monogram. The silversmiths makers mark is present for Thomas Harwood & Sons of Birmingham dating to c.1870 / 1890.

The interior has a silver plated removable liner perfect to chill that special bottle.

A very special piece in excellent condition spanning 8 3/8" x 11" tall to top of handles.
