Technical Description
Three early 19th century cut glass standing salts. The canoe shaped bowls with notch cut rims, a band of flutes cuts and slice cuts to the base. Slice cut stems above lemon squeezer feet.
Date & Origin
England, c1800. Period of George III.
Condition
Age-related wear as shown. The rims have a few very small nibbles and the corners of the feet have some chips as expected for this form.

Height: 8.3cm Rim diameter: 9cm Foot diameter: 6cm.
Historical Context
Hand-made around the time the first soup kitchens opened in London on the 8th of January 1800.
