A George III Satinwood Bonheur du Jour writing desk, the raised superstructure with two shelves above a single frieze drawer fitted with sliding leather lined writing surface, raised on square tapered legs terminating in brass cups and castors.

Height: 46 ½”, 118 cms / Width: 26 ¾” 68cms / Depth:18 ½ ”, 47 cms.
Note This has many similarities to designs published during this period by Thomas Sheraton.
Provenance: June 1985, acquired from a private collection in Wiltshire.
Sold to a private collector in Cambridgeshire.
September 2023. Re-acquired by Harvey’s.
