Antique Caucasian Kazak long rug, South Western Caucasus

Second half 19th century.

A beautiful long rug with 3 medallions, a 4th one is dissapearing at the top

A well drawn rug with wonderful soft colours including a powder blue field, yellow a a very gentle madder red

The border is one of the classic Caucasian designs

Outstanding condition with some very well done re-piled areas

Even wear with low pile.

Hand washed and ready for use or display.
