• Vintage 9ct Gold Opal and White Sapphire Halo Earrings

Beautiful opal cabochons framed in a halo of white sapphires and set in silver prongs with decorative pierced gold backs which are just as pretty as the fronts. The opals have a subtle play of predominantly red and green flashes against a creamy pale green ground.

• Condition: The earrings are in excellent vintage condition.

• Fixing: Solid nine-carat gold screw backs suitable for pierced or non-pierced ears.

• Hallmarks/stamps: 375 (nine-carat gold) on each screw.

• Era: Estimated early mid-20th century, possibly earlier.

• Size: 1.5 x 1.2mm.

• Weight: 4.4g.
