Condition
Excellent, no chips cracks. The rim is a little wavey, thickens at the edge, retains its fire polish and has consistent wear and shows no signs of restoration.
may have had a very minor polish in the past but it thickens at the edge and the wear is as expected.

The "plain stem" wine glass of the 18th century has a strength of character unequalled by many of its contemporaries. With an amazing array of sizes, bowls, and foot forms, the 'plain stem' is very much a collector's favourite.
This is a particularly fine example with a combination of engraving and moulding and a folded foot. Elegance and strength.
