Edwardian jewellery, spanning roughly from 1901 to 1910, is characterised by light, airy designs, frequently utilising platinum and yellow gold alongside pearls and diamonds to create delicate, lace-like motifs.

These rings typically combined yellow gold or platinum settings with natural pearls, seed pearls, and hand-cut diamonds such as rose cuts or old mine cuts.

Authentic pieces often feature hand-carved detailing, closed or open-back settings consistent with early 20th-century craftsmanship, natural organic gemstones, and occasionally traditional British hallmarks.

An antique ring can be worn as a standalone statement piece on the hand or stacked alongside contemporary minimalist bands to create a deliberate contrast between historic and modern aesthetics.

Pearls are organic and sensitive to chemicals, perfumes, and cosmetics; they should be cleaned gently with a soft, damp cloth and stored separately from harder gemstones to prevent scratching.
