, Soho, London. It is of magnificent quality with a moulded cornice above two glazed doors, having arched mouldings, key and working lock. The interior has three adjustable shelves. The lower section has a beautifully figured top above a secretaire drawer, having turned handles and a central rounded moulding. The drawer front is hinged and folds down, with the interior having green baize writing insert along with four satin birch drawers, small ebonized handles and several pigeon holes. Below are two beautifully figured cupboard doors with moulded edges and it stands on a moulded plinth. This fine Regency bookcase has been finished to a rich Mahogany shade with a striking grain, good patina, is in very good condition and has been beautifully cleaned using a traditional form of bees wax finishing.
