Description

Large imposing antique Victorian mahogany two section bookcase with lots of good carving. It has a carved top pediment, below which are two glazed doors with adjustable shelves inside. The bottom section has two drawers with original brass handles & two cupboards with intricately carved panels. The front sides of this bookcase are grooved with carved corbels top & bottom. This piece is in really good original condition & we have only given it a quick polish over. I would say it dates to around the 1880 period & it's a top quality piece.

Depth - 18.5", 47 cm

Height - 95.7", 243 cm
