Description

A French 18 karat (18K) yellow gold charm pendant designed as a round medal with a relief of the Virgin Mary in profile with the motto 'MATER DEI' (Mother of God). The reverse depicts a dove flying over clouds towards the radiating sun with the letter M for Marion/Mary in the centre of the sun. Below this the engraved name Suzanne Camia and the date 24 Octobre 1915. Stamped with the horse's head for 18 karat gold and French manufacture, along with an unknown maker's mark. Signed Bouloux.
