A pair of silver cufflinks dates from the Art Deco period of 1930. Both oval faces display aquamarine guilloche enamel decorated with white geometric chevron motifs, linked together by short cable chain connectors. The reverse sides bear a 'silver' mark, completing the construction of the set. These accessories measure 2 cm high, 1 cm wide, and 1 cm deep in overall practical terms. Today, these items serve as a wearable vintage accessory for fastening double-cuff shirts on formal or smart casual attire. The polished silver frames and bright turquoise colour bring a distinct touch of period style to cuffs, offering a practical decorative accent for formal tailoring or evening wear.

Art Deco mens jewellery, prominent from the 1920s through the 1930s, is characterised by geometric shapes, clean lines, bold colour contrasts, and symmetrical patterns, often combining engine-turned metalwork with vibrant enamel.

Art Deco cufflinks were frequently crafted from sterling silver, white gold, or platinum, featuring vitreous enamel applied via guilloche or champleve techniques, sometimes accented with mother-of-pearl or precious stones.

Authentic period pieces feature metal purity hallmarks, engine-turned metal pattern details beneath translucent enamel, period-appropriate chain or fixed bar connections, and precise geometric hand-finishing.

Double-sided cufflinks are designed for French cuff (double cuff) dress shirts, threaded through both buttonholes so that decorative enamel faces are displayed on both sides of the cuff.

Clean silver components gently using a soft polishing cloth, avoiding chemical dips or abrasive cleaners that can damage or crack the glass-based enamel surface.
