Description

A charming antique yellow metal heart-shaped hair locket pendant. Circa 1880. Seemingly unmarked. Most probably made of Pinchbeck, or gold-filled. This is a quality piece: even the glass ‘window’ is bevelled.

The heart-shaped locket measures approximately 2.1cms across at the widest point.

The later, pink metal chain is unmarked and measures approximately 46cms in length.

Date of Manufacture

Hough & Son has dated this Yellow Metal Hair Locket to the Victorian era.
