In fact, since our founding in 2002, Sellingantiques has only had to step in to help resolve an issue on roughly five occasions—a true testament to the quality of our dealers and their dedication to your happiness.
Our dealers are highly experienced in packing and shipping fragile, high-value antiques. Because you are in direct contact with the dealer, you will be able to easily go through all available shipping and insurance options together to ensure your item arrives safely.

Edwardian jewellery, produced roughly between 1901 and 1915, is characterised by delicate craftsmanship, platinum settings, and the frequent use of diamonds and pearls to achieve a light, airy aesthetic.

Goldsmiths of this era commonly utilised 18ct yellow gold, rose gold, and increasingly platinum, often combining yellow gold bands with platinum-topped settings to enhance the brilliance of the diamonds.

Authentic pieces feature period-appropriate hallmarks, hand-cut stones such as old mine cuts or old European cuts, and fine, handcrafted claw or millegrain settings rather than modern cast production.

Antique rings can be worn alone as a statement piece or stacked with contemporary wedding bands to create a personalised, historically rich contrast.

Regular professional inspections of the claws and settings are recommended, along with gentle cleaning using warm soapy water and a soft brush, avoiding harsh chemical ultrasonic cleaners.
