Description

A lovely antique Edwardian sterling silver photograph frame which has a plain rectangular shaped body with wavy edged detailing and stands in an upright position. The velvet backing has been renewed to make it look more presentable and the overall condition is excellent. The backing can be removed from the silver frame which is a sign of superior craftsmanship.

Overall height: 16.5 cms (6.5")

Overall width: 12 cms (4.7")

Internal height: 13.3 cms (5.2")

Internal width: 9 cms (3.5")

Weight (without the backing): 1.8 troy ounces (56 grams)

It was hallmarked in London for 1908 by Goldsmiths & Silversmiths Co. Ltd.
