Upon joining, every dealer agrees to a strict 9-point code of conduct. While issues can occasionally arise, our dealers typically resolve them swiftly and directly with the buyer. In fact, since our founding in 2002, Sellingantiques has only had to step in to help resolve an issue on roughly five occasions—a true testament to the quality of our dealers and their dedication to your happiness.
Our dealers are highly experienced in packing and shipping fragile, high-value antiques. Because you are in direct contact with the dealer, you will be able to easily go through all available shipping and insurance options together to ensure your item arrives safely.
Antiques are the ultimate green purchase. By choosing historical pieces over newly manufactured goods, you completely eliminate the carbon footprint of modern mass production while preserving exceptional, timeless craftsmanship.

Edwardian silver and glassware, produced during the reign of King Edward VII from 1901 to 1910, is characterised by lighter, more refined designs often drawing inspiration from neoclassical and eighteenth-century motifs.

These items typically combine clear blown or moulded glass bodies with sterling silver collars, mounts, and stoppers, frequently incorporating glass stoppers with ground glass fitments.

Authenticity is generally verified through clear British hallmarks stamped on the silver mount, indicating the assay office, date letter, and makers mark, alongside period-appropriate glass characteristics such as pontil marks or hand-cut detailing.

Such decorative glass objects can be displayed on a sideboard, open shelving, or a dining table surface to add a touch of historical craftsmanship and reflective texture to contemporary spaces.

Glass should be washed gently in warm soapy water without harsh abrasives, while silver mounts require careful cleaning with a non-abrasive silver polish, avoiding direct contact between the polish and the glass surface.
