Upon joining, every dealer agrees to a strict 9-point code of conduct. While issues can occasionally arise, our dealers typically resolve them swiftly and directly with the buyer. In fact, since our founding in 2002, Sellingantiques has only had to step in to help resolve an issue on roughly five occasions—a true testament to the quality of our dealers and their dedication to your happiness.
Our dealers are highly experienced in packing and shipping fragile, high-value antiques. Because you are in direct contact with the dealer, you will be able to easily go through all available shipping and insurance options together to ensure your item arrives safely.

Mid-Century Scandinavian silver jewellery emerged during the 1950s and 1960s, characterised by minimalist yet organic forms, clean lines, and an emphasis on the natural qualities of sterling silver.

Pieces from this era were typically crafted from high-grade sterling silver, often featuring hand-hammered textures, polished finishes, and hollow construction techniques to create voluminous shapes without excessive weight.

Authenticity is usually verified through maker marks, designer stamps, and silver purity hallmarks such as 925 or national assay marks stamped directly onto the reverse of the pendant or the clasp.

Vintage silver necklaces work well layered with fine contemporary chains for a mixed-era aesthetic, or worn alone as a statement piece against simple, neutral garments to highlight the metalwork.

Preserve silver jewellery by storing it in an anti-tarnish pouch away from moisture, cleaning it gently with a soft microfibre cloth, and avoiding harsh chemical dips that can strip the original patina.
