Description

An antique Afshar Soumak Persian flat weave rug, approximately 6'6" x 3'10", Circa 1930. This rug has a terracotta field with hooked gul medallion, enclosed by repeating borders. A hand-woven rug with fringes to both ends, one braided. Wool construction.

An attractive old rug, in good condition, full of charm and ready for use.

Dimensions:

This rug measures approximately 197 cm long including fringes, and 117 cm wide.

Condition:

Please see the pictures for details of the items condition. - This rug is in an overall good condition, commensurate with its age. Only odd minor marks and blemishes. Vacuumed, deodorised, and treated for moth prevention. Clean and ready for use. - As with all vintage & antique furniture there will be signs of use, marks, wear & tear, etc.
