Upon joining, every dealer agrees to a strict 9-point code of conduct. While issues can occasionally arise, our dealers typically resolve them swiftly and directly with the buyer. In fact, since our founding in 2002, Sellingantiques has only had to step in to help resolve an issue on roughly five occasions—a true testament to the quality of our dealers and their dedication to your happiness.
Our dealers are highly experienced in packing and shipping fragile, high-value antiques. Because you are in direct contact with the dealer, you will be able to easily go through all available shipping and insurance options together to ensure your item arrives safely.

Edwardian hip flasks gained popularity during the early 20th century as essential accessories for outdoor pursuits such as hunting, shooting, and travelling among the British upper classes.

These flasks were typically fashioned from heavy-gauge lead crystal glass combined with sterling silver mounts, often featuring a gilt interior to the removable cup to prevent corrosion from alcohol.

Authenticity is verified by checking for clear British hallmarks stamped on the silver mounts, indicating the assay office, date letter, and makers mark corresponding to the Edwardian era.

An antique flask can be displayed prominently on a bar cart, a gentlemans library desk, or atop a cabinet of curiosities as a sophisticated decorative accent.

Clean the silver components gently using a specialist silver polishing cloth while avoiding abrasive cleaners, and wash the glass interior by hand with warm, soapy water.
