Art Deco jewellery is characterised by geometric precision, stylised motifs, clean lines, and a strong emphasis on contrasting colours and structured metalwork.

Jewellery from this era frequently utilised platinum, white gold, and yellow gold, often paired with diamonds, sapphires, rubies, and notable coloured gemstones such as opals.

Authentic pieces typically display period-appropriate hand-cut stones, specific makers marks, traditional casting or fabrication methods, and natural age-related wear on the metal and gem surfaces.

Vintage rings can be worn as standalone statement pieces or paired with minimalist modern bands to highlight their distinct historic character and unique geometric detailing.

Opals contain natural water content and are softer than diamonds, requiring careful handling away from harsh chemicals, ultrasonic cleaners, extreme temperature changes, and prolonged direct sunlight.
