Art Deco jewellery, prominent from the 1920s to the 1930s, is characterised by geometric symmetry, clean lines, stylised motifs, and a strong influence from industrial design and modernist art movements.

Jewellery from this era frequently utilised platinum and white gold as a setting for diamonds and calibrated gemstones, often featuring meticulous millgraining and open-work filigree details.

Authentic pieces typically exhibit hand-cut stones specific to the period, traditional makers marks or purity stamps, and construction techniques consistent with pre-war craftsmanship rather than modern casting.

Period cocktail rings serve as striking standalone statements that can be paired with contemporary minimalist outfits or layered alongside sleek, modern bands for a curated contrast.

Safeguard antique pieces by storing them individually in soft-lined boxes, avoiding harsh ultrasonic cleaners on fragile settings, and having claw integrity inspected periodically by a professional jeweller.
