Edwardian jewellery, produced during the reign of King Edward VII from 1901 to 1910, is characterised by light, airy designs, platinum settings, and delicate lace-like filigree work influenced by the Arts and Crafts movement and Belle Epoque elegance.

These rings typically combined yellow gold bands with platinum-topped settings to enhance the brilliance of diamonds and coloured gemstones, employing hand-cut stones such as old mine cuts and cushion cuts secured by delicate claw or milgrain settings.

Authentic pieces exhibit hand-forged or early cast metalwork with characteristic wear consistent with age, authentic hallmarks or stamps, and genuine hand-cut gemstones featuring irregular facets unlike modern machine-cut stones.

An antique cluster ring serves as a striking standalone statement piece on the hand, complementing both minimalist modern outfits and layered vintage ensembles, or functioning as an alternative engagement ring.

Clean gently with warm soapy water and a soft brush, avoiding harsh ultrasonic cleaners or abrasive chemicals, and have the prong settings professionally inspected annually to ensure the vintage stones remain secure.
