Art Nouveau silver jewellery is characterised by fluid, organic lines, asymmetrical natural motifs, and a focus on craftsmanship over pure gem weight.

These pieces are typically handcrafted from sterling silver, frequently featuring hand-hammered surfaces, oxidised details to create depth, and integrated linked construction.

Authentic pieces bear specific makers marks, design numbers, and standard silver purity hallmarks that correspond to the period of manufacture.

It can be worn as a statement piece against minimalist clothing to highlight its sculptural qualities and historical craftsmanship.

Store items in anti-tarnish bags, avoid abrasive cleaning compounds to preserve the original oxidisation, and clean gently with a soft microfibre cloth.
