FAQs

Georgian revival pieces replicate the classical proportions, symmetry, and intricate cutting techniques popular during the 18th and early 19th centuries, often produced in the late Victorian or Edwardian periods.

Authentic period pieces are crafted from heavy lead crystal or flint glass, shaped using mould-blowing techniques and subsequently finished with hand-cut geometric facets to maximise light refraction.

Authenticity is typically assessed by examining the weight, the presence of minor surface wear or pontil marks on the base, and the specific sharpness and depth of the hand-cut facets.

They can be utilised as sophisticated table centrepieces or mantel ornaments, pairing the reflective qualities of crystal with modern minimalist tableware or contrasting textures to create visual depth.

Items should be washed gently in lukewarm water with mild detergent, avoiding harsh abrasives or sudden temperature changes, and dried thoroughly with a lint-free cloth to maintain clarity.
