Upon joining, every dealer agrees to a strict 9-point code of conduct. While issues can occasionally arise, our dealers typically resolve them swiftly and directly with the buyer. In fact, since our founding in 2002, Sellingantiques has only had to step in to help resolve an issue on roughly five occasions—a true testament to the quality of our dealers and their dedication to your happiness.
Our dealers are highly experienced in packing and shipping fragile, high-value antiques. Because you are in direct contact with the dealer, you will be able to easily go through all available shipping and insurance options together to ensure your item arrives safely.

Edwardian jewellery is characterised by delicate, light designs often featuring platinum and yellow gold settings with intricate pierced work, heavily influenced by garlands, ribbons, and floral motifs.

Pewter, yellow gold, and the newly popular platinum were paired with precious gemstones such as diamonds, rubies, sapphires, and emeralds, often cut in rose, old European, or baguette styles.

Authentic pieces typically feature period-specific hallmarks, hand-cut gemstones with slight irregularities, closed-back or open-back millegrain settings, and hand-wrought metalwork characteristic of early 20th-century craftsmanship.

Antique pieces can be worn as standalone statement items or layered with contemporary minimalist jewellery to create a curated contrast between old-world elegance and modern simplicity.

Store pieces individually in soft pouches away from direct sunlight and moisture, avoid harsh chemical cleaners, and have settings and clasps periodically inspected by a professional jeweller.
