All original with RAF roundels & initials painted to the sides, “not wanted on voyage” & F.L.t C.A.CAPON” stenciled to top, with address and RAF Blue band to the front and two sides. Fully lockable complete with working key. Painted Green inside and lined with an old newspaper.

In 1940 on 4th October the Administration and Special Duties Branch granted Charles Alexander Capon (86141) commission as Pilot Officer on probation for the duration of hostilities.
One year later C A Capon (86141) was confirmed as Flight Officer. (war subs.)
