Unusual chiming lock......'dings' when the key is turned.
Grain crack to the lid which is solid and stable (not particularly noticeable see detailed photos) some old repairs to the lock area (well done). Lovely colour and camphor smell from the interior. Camphor wood was used for these trunks due to its insect repellant properties so ideal for transporting uniforms and clothes. Key present but worn and unable to lock the lid.
