Art Deco jewellery is characterised by geometric precision, stylised motifs, symmetrical lines, and a bold combination of platinum or white gold with contrasting coloured gemstones and diamonds.

Pieces from this period frequently utilised a combination of yellow gold bands with platinum or white gold settings to enhance the brilliance of diamonds, often featuring hand-bezel or grain settings.

Authentic pieces exhibit period-appropriate hand-fabrication marks, natural gemstone inclusions consistent with specific geographical origins like Mogok, and wear patterns aligned with early 20th-century craftsmanship.

This type of statement ring can be worn alone as a focal cocktail piece or paired alongside minimalist bands to highlight its distinctive geometric cluster silhouette.

Store antique pieces individually in soft pouches, avoid ultrasonic cleaners on heat-treated or cabochon stones with natural inclusions, and have settings inspected annually by a professional jeweller.
