This superb, Period late 18th Century Country Oak Antique Coffer is full of beautiful charm and character, that you would expect to find in a true antique. This Country Antique Coffer is nice and simple in design with a wonderful figured grain. It has a hinged lid and the interior has the original blue paper linings. This wonderful antique chest stands on raised bracket feet and the oak has aged to a warm shade with a striking grain, good patina, is in very good condition and has been beautifully cleaned using a traditional form of oak wax finishing.
