This late 19th century Victorian Oak Antique Silver Chest dates from ca.1880 and would make the perfect unusual antique coffee table. It has super metal bound corners and strap work along with a central brass plate. The sides have large carrying handles and the interior still retains the early linings.
The Oak is a warm shade with a striking grain, good patina, is in very good condition and has been beautifully cleaned using a traditional form of furniture wax finishing.
